Our co-founder, Mariana Karkoutly, participated in an impactful online event hosted by The Syria Campaign on 16 April 2024. The event brought together an outstanding group of experts and human rights advocates, including Dr. Nahed Samour, Catriona Murdoch, and Uğur Ümit Üngör, and was moderated by Arwa Damon.

The discussion focused on pressing human rights issues in Gaza and Syria. During the event on, they presented new evidence of the Syrian regime’s starvation policy affecting Palestinians in Yarmouk, proposed pathways for states to pursue accountability, and called for an end to the ongoing starvation of Palestinians in Gaza.
