We welcome dynamic and motivated lawyers and legal practitioners who satisfy membership criteria to apply to join the organisation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f995100be137b5dd09a7015776268d5f\"><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for inspiring women to join our network and share our work and values with. To keep focusing on our current mandate and objectives, <strong>we<\/strong> <strong>will <em>only<\/em> consider<\/strong> <strong>applications from aspiring members who meet the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You identify as a woman<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have a legal background (lawyer, legal practitioner, law student)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You work and\/or are interested in working in the Syrian context<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have an interest or experience in conducting legal investigations of war crimes and crimes against humanity, research, advocacy, and justice and accountability in Syria broadly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are an Arabic speaker or, at least, understand Arabic<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f995100be137b5dd09a7015776268d5f\"><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you get from joining:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Network of like-minded lawyers and legal practitioners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentorship and bespoke support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to apply for your own projects under the umbrella of Huquqyat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical training(s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Priority access to job opportunities that Huquqyat makes available<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A safe, flexible, and respectful work environment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f995100be137b5dd09a7015776268d5f\"><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Huquqyat works in five main areas:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research by conducting research projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocacy by advocating for various human rights issues and partnering with civil society and human rights organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigation by forming legal investigative projects\/groups on war crimes and crimes against humanity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal aid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trainings<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-621b39e606ae087012cdbdf314d085ed wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Are you ready to join us?
