Halima Ammoun, a Syrian lawyer and member of Huquqyat, shared her insights about her legal practice in northern Syria on the SY+ platform. Despite interrupting her law studies in Aleppo for five years, Ms. Ammoun became a member of the Bar Association. Halima dedicates herself to providing weekly trainings at the legal clinic in northwest Syria and awareness sessions for women in the community. In addition to that, Ms. Ammoun provides free services to women in need of legal assistance by trying to overcome mobility challenges in the region.
