Huquqyat’s work is grounded in a feminist legal network approach. This is not a separate program, but a way of working across all our programs.

We create safe spaces for Syrian women legal practitioners to come together, collaborate, exchange knowledge, strategize, and strengthen their leadership. Through our membership model, we promote shared leadership and support the emergence of new leadership within our network.

This approach reflects Huquqyat’s belief that women legal practitioners should not only participate in justice efforts, but also shape them. Across our investigation, research, training, legal support, and advocacy work, we seek to challenge exclusion, build collective power, and ensure that justice processes are informed by feminist legal perspectives and lived experience.
